We are looking for a Senior Manager with practical project experienced and expertise in the area of Application Management.
As Department Head you will be responsible for development (creation and growth) of team delivering consulting services in the area of Application Management. You will be responsible for operational management of team of analysts/consultants thus experience with managing team of approx. 50 people is required. What would be an advantage allowing to succeed in that role is experience in management of distributed teams and engagements (Farshore&Nearshore) in multicultural environment.
You will be managing department responsible providing consulting services in the area of Application Management to respective Clients allowing them to:
· Restructure the organization and relocate relevant work offshore leading to reduction of maintenance costs,
· Optimize the staff skill mix for application support work, making right resources available,
· Replace contract workers
· Implement standard global methods, processes and tools
· Implement other performance and productivity improvements that lead to lowering costs of running less critical applications.
In order to be successful in that role you need to have knowledge about typical AMSC tool environments (Ticketing platform, KPI reporting, ACD, etc.)
As an expert in the area of Application Management you must have documented project experience in this area in particular in services covering application enhancements stage. Experience in design, optimization and audit of business and IS/IT related and application management processes would be an asset.
You should be an individual understanding concepts of software industrialization, optimization and cost efficiency drivers in service delivery engagements.
It is required for you to have experience in early phases of application management projects
(estimation, transformation). Your previous involvement at the tender stage as a member project bid team will be a great asset.
Application Management Department will be offering full support for selected applications or whole portfolio of systems to its clients. You will be responsible for managing the transition and Go-live stage. You will be responsible as well for the on call support team working on shift basis.
You will also be responsible for the post sale delivery activities associated with these complex sales by planning the implementation stage, namely resources, capacity plan of teams involved, project timeframe and technical commitments.
You must be proficient in English, basic understanding of German would be an asset.
You will be permanently residing in Wroclaw, however occasional travels will be required.
