Category Manager - The Role
- Set quarterly plans to ensure targets are reached and promotions are running successfully
- Developing strong internal relationships
- External relationship building with mobile phone networks
- Manage promotional planning strategy and process
- Develop and manage the more junior members of the team
- Full category responsibility
Category Manager - The Candidate
- Strong category management experience for a retailer
- Creative thinker with strong problem solving skills
- Good influencing skills
- Man-management experience
- Proven ability to influence both internally and externally
- Very analytical
- CIMA or CIPS would be useful but not essential
- Excellent Communication Skill
