Category Manager - Dublin City Centre - Salary Negotiable - 6 Month Contract
The Client
My client is a multi-national cosmetics company based in Dublin that will report directly into the category controller. The purpose of the role is to build key relationships with key retailers and to be an expert across all categories. It will offer the opportunity to develop relationships with the highest levels of management and key decision makers.
The Candidate
The candidate will have strong analytical skills and the ability to work with multiple continuous data sources. The most suitable candidate will have previous experience in Sales, Trade Marketing or Category Management role, preferably working in the grocery channel or in Health and Beauty.
Role & Responsibilities
· Must have a proven ability to develop category relationships with key retailers across all categories.
· Have proven skills in data analysis, range and space evaluation and the preparation of planograms.
· Analyse multiple sources of data from various agencies and the use the appropriate data to drive the understanding of account shoppers.
· Support the director of category management in developing a high level of influence in range reviews across all categories.
· Provide a vision for the categories in the short, medium and long term.
