A Data Architect is required for one of Ireland's largest healthcare services company in Dublin.
My client specialises in supply chain, packaging, sales and marketing, medical and regulatory services and they operate in five major international markets, and employ over 4,500 people around the world.
As a Data Architect, you will have responsibilities for the following:
· Lead in-house Business Intelligence Team
· Define information solution architectures
· Design of data/data modeling
· Defining optimal strategies for ETL to data warehouses
Responsibilities
· Delivery of a robust scalable data architecture
· Lead data architecture teams and liaise with project stakeholders and system engineers to ensure the creation of a high quality BI solutions
· Assist in the development and implementation of various strategic initiatives around data quality, data profiling, metadata and data architecture policies, standards and governance
· Lead implementation efforts through all stages of the development lifecycle
· Evaluate business and technical requirements and determine the best technology and application platform based on BI product capabilities, costs, etc.
· Manage and lead the in-house business intelligence team to translate business requirements into functional application specifications and logical data model requirements
· Define technical requirements and BI architecture for data warehouse solutions
· Define the information access and security requirements/protocols for DW solution
· Lead teams that design, construct and implement BI application solution components dashboards, scorecards, predictive modeling, forecasting, data mining, statistical analysis, geo-mapping and multi-dimensional analytic value drivers
· Set strategic goals and priorities for the BI team
· Design, build, test and deploy ETL programs/and reports for the Data Migration and Reporting Projects
· Develops logical and physical data models, and documents the models in a data modeling tool; translates the business requirements into logical and physical data models
