Head of Sales Marketing UK (London)
Facebook seeks an experienced Marketing Manager who is passionate about social media, brand positioning and effective sales marketing communications. The successful candidate will have strong experience working closely with sales and developing marketing material in an Internet or high tech company. This position is located in their London, UK office.
Responsibilities
· Partner effectively with internal Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, Design, Communications and Sales teams to ensure world-class marketing communications for all Facebook advertising products across our agency and advertiser customer base
· Lead and develop content creation that can be used by sales teams to generate new business, educate clients on new products/features and engage clients on innovative ways to drive awareness/sales via social marketing techniques
· Work closely with global and cross-functional counterpoints to ensure cohesion and scalability for advertising messaging, campaigns and product launches
· Identify and develop stories about their advertising customers that further Facebook's commitment to advertisers
· Drive product adoption and product usage rates through scalable marketing programs and product launch support
· Develop thought-leadership materials designed to enhance our advertisers', agency partners' and the industry's understanding of social networking and online advertising
· Develop scalable ways to use data and metrics to drive growth and sales for advertisers
· Evangelize our best practices to our clients and partners via events, webinars and other direct client communications channels
Requirements
· BA/BS degree preferred
· Masters degree or equivalent experience a plus
· 10+ years professional experience
· Demonstrated capacity for developing marketing strategies in an Internet, technology (consumer or B2B) and/or advertising environment (experience working across more than 1 market a plus)
· Candidate MUST demonstrate strong online experience
· Expertise supporting and enabling a sales organization is preferred
· Strong process, project management and decision-making skills with successful experience influencing and leading cross-functional teams
· Outstanding analysis and communications skills
· Creative flair to bring fresh ideas to product positioning and marketing campaigns
· Comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment
· Minimal travel
