Our client, a global company, are currently looking to recruit a Financial Accountant.
Role Responsibility
Provide timely and accurate financial information in order for the company to meet established goals and objectives while ensuring local statutory requirements are adhered to. A key aspect of the role is the support of the operations in the regional office - leading initiatives where necessary and contributing to the business decisions.
Additional Responsibilities:
•Preparation of Monthly Financial Information for two or more European entities (including Management Accounts) with supporting commentary, working within strict deadlines.
•Manage full Trial Balance and maintain monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations (including Bank, VAT, salaries etc)
•Developing solid relationships with various non finance departments located in regional offices whereby finance support the business and contribute to the decision process
•Full responsibility (with support from Finance/Tax Manager) for ensuring entities are compliant with local legislative requirements, liaising with local financial/taxation advisors as required & planning the compliance suite
•Liasing with local financial/taxation advisors as required and planning the compliance suite (agreeing fees, timeline for deliverables etc)
•Ensuring processes are SOX compliant.
•Weekly cashflow monitoring and reporting.
•Monthly and annual assistance with forecasts and budget preparation
•Assisting Finance Manager with adhoc project work.
Experience and Qualification
You will be a fully qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA accountant with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in an industry financial role,
In addition you will have:
•Relevant PQE in tax, management accounting and operational support of the business
•Ability to build strong relationships with non finance departments
•Excellent EXCEL knowledge and experience in Oracle Financials
•Ability to work on own initiative
•Strong oral and written communication skills are essential
•Teamplayer essential
