Job description:

1. Job Title: Master Scheduler

Position Reports to: AD Planning

2. Primary Objective
• Provide an integrated master schedule for a product(s) or manufacturing area(s).

3. Scope

• Interface with supply network, PPUs and other relevant parties to translate demand into an integrated, feasible production and ship schedule.

4. Responsibilities

• Primary interface to supply network planning, PPU operations, quality, engineering, material supply, finance and others
• Translate network, customer and PPU requirements and constraints into master production schedule
• Interface with Logistics operations and supply network planning to implement a ship schedule
• Utilise, maintain and develop SAP R/3 planning system, including BoM & recipe control, intermediate/FERT control, planning parameter control, process order accuracy, planning system health
• Utilise, maintain and develop APO and PPDS, including master data maintenance and system health and provide expertise in use of system
• Lead and participate in change control and compliance activities related to planning
• Lead and participate in project work related to planning, such as scenario development, production strategy, process order design and new product introduction
• Prepare timely and accurate capacity, planning and shipping performance related reports for Plan of Record, KPI and other review purposes internally and externally
• Interface with PPU and other site functions with regard to planning related issues
• Provide planning backup across the site where necessary
• Carry out related duties as required

5. Education/Experience:

• Degree in business, science or equivalent
• 5 years experience in planning/manufacturing environment, ideally in a complex, international, regulated environment
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• Experienced in use of SAP or other ERP systems
• Ability to work and influence across organizational boundaries
