Leading FMCG company currently have a requirement for a Procurement Co-ordinator to join Global Procurement Team based in Dublin. The Successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the procurement function by creating IT-enabled tenders and helping with the consolidation of supplier quotes.
Other Duties will include:
· Assisting the team in sourcing and collating all necessary information required for successful tendering.
· Creating tenders based on bid lists and Request for Quotation data provided by the category teams.
· Providing support for eAuctions and other advanced eSourcing tools.
· Maintaining the eSourcing platform and liaising with ICT for continuous improvement initiatives.
· Corresponding with vendors in conjunction with the tender process as required.
· Assembling and maintaining internal Procurement documentation and systems relating to the tendering process.
· Preparing Tender status reports and expected timelines on a regular basis and when requested
· Other tasks as assigned by the Procurement Team Lead.
The successful candidate will have:
· Previous experience in procurement role
· Solid IT skills
· Solid understanding of ERP systems.
· Knowledge of IT- enabled Procurement tools would be advantageous.
· Ability to produce adhoc reports from raw data.
· Service oriented attitude.
· Good organisation skills.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Comfortable working with multiple interfaces.
· Good interpersonal skills.
· Degree educated
