Duties and Responsibilities of Quality Engineer Job in Co.Tyrone
- To work alongside manufacturing to improve operational performance
- To establish/support quality policies and procedures that are followed throughout the business that contribute to consistent high-class performance in all areas
- Ensure the identification and control of all non-conforming products
- Develop, promote and lead continuous improvement activities
- Provide support and assistance to manufacturing in development and execution of corrective actions
- Lead/participate in quality system and/or process audits as needed
- Leads and participates in supplier and in house improvement events
- Clear communication (both verbally and orally) to all levels within the organisation on quality related topics
Criteria for Quality Engineer Job in Co. Tyrone
• Third level qualification or equivalent
• Strong analytical skills
• Demonstratable experience of continous quality/process improvement tools
• Fully proficient in Microsoft applications, in particular Excel, Word and PowerwPoint
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills in termas of work planning and time management.
Desirable Criteria
• Qualified in an Engineering discipline
• ISO 9001 lead auditor
• Proven ability of driving change by influencing all stakeholders involved.
