Quantity Surveyors Required for a Large-scale Mixed-use Development in the Middle East
We currently have a number of appointments for Quantity Surveyors in the Middle East. We are working on a tight deadline to fill the following Quantity Surveying Vacancies:
- Senior Quantity Surveyor (10+ years experience)
- Intermediate Quantity Surveyor (8+ years experience)
- Assistant Quantity Surveyor (5+ years experience)
The client is a renowned multi-disciplinary quantity surveying, project and cost management consultancy - one of world's TOP leading firms with international offices across all continents and global project operations.
All vacancies are 2-year fixed term contracts with the possibility to become permanent staff after the contract period is served. The location of work will be Jeddah but the project itself is a multi-billion dollar mixed-use development in Mekkah financed by the local government. The project includes high-rise office blocks, small residential, financial institution facilities, industrial estates with associated infrastructure, utilities and civil works.
All of the above QS roles are to advise the client who is a major developer within the region on the following:
· Preparation of various cost estimates at the various stages of the project
· Advising Client on contractual terms for contracts to be concluded with Consultants
· Reviewing payment applications for the various consultants and contractors
· Advising client on procurements methods and strategy.
· Various other standard QS duties depending on the seniority level of the role
The client will be holding the first round of interviews in LONDON shortly and had advised that travel expenses to and from London will not be reimbursed. Alternatively, if you are located in the Middle East, the client is flexible to meet with suitable candidates in one of their local offices.
To fill the above roles, we are looking for experienced Quantity Surveyors who match the following selection criteria:
· Degree qualification with a professional membership (registered with a professional QS or PM body) and a minimum of 5+ years post-graduate experience working on large-scale mixed-use projects in a consultancy environment
· Proven track record of project and team management with project delivery on time and within budget
· Travelling and working preferably on single status with leaves every 3 months ( duration of each leave will be negotiated with the contract terms )
· Mobilization period within 60 days
