Deputy Manager - Galway - €32k
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Deputy Manager to join the team of a busy and dynamic large space store in Galway. This role would suit an experienced Fashion Manager or Deputy Manager, who is out going, hard working and understands the importance of the highest level of Customer Service.
The Company:
The Company are a well know and highly established Fashion Retailer on the Irish High Street. They are well repected and highly regarded for their outstanding product knowledge, friendly and experienced staff, and most of all, the best level of Customer Service. They are 100% Irish owned, and currently have 65 stores open in Ireland. With plans for expansion, the opportunities to progress within the Company are plenty.
The Role:
The role of the Deputy Manager is to Asisst the Store Manger in the day to day running of the Store. Applicants must have relevant Management experience in the Fashion Industry to be considered for this role. As this is a large busy store, applicants must have experience in managing at least 20 staff and a turnover of over €1million.
Responsibilities:
- To Assist the Store Manager in the smooth running of the Store on a day to day basis
- To motivate and encourage staff
- To work to and exceed Sales Targets
- To work to KPI's and ensure the Store is meeting all expectations
- To provide a five star level of Customer Service at all times
- To be aware of competitior activity
- To monitor Staff and report to Store Manager and Area Management
- To merchandise stock and ensure a clean floor space at all times
Applicants must have:
- At least 3 years experience in Retail Management
- Proven success in working to many KPI's
- Proven success in working to and exceeding Sales Targets
- The ability to manage and motivate a large Sales Team
- A confident, out going and friendly manner
- Excellent communication skills
