Our client are currently recruiting Telecoms Riggers - Nationwide. Candidates would be responsible for site inspections, testing, fault diagnostics and on-going maintenance of mobile telecommunications infrastructure.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
· Faultfinding & diagnostics on GSM/DCS/UMTS and Microwave Radio utilising Anritsu SiteMaster equipment.
· Inspection and test of Microwave links.
· Commission Microwave links.
· Running feeders, earthing, labeling, and testing of feeder cables.
· Inspection and testing of ODUs, Splitters and IDUs.
· CPN testing (BER testing).
· Audit of rigging installation including structural and civil areas.
· Must be available on a Rota basis for call out duties as and when required.
· Adhere to applicable Health & Safety laws, policies and best practice guidelines
Person Specification:
· 2 - 4 years in a similar working environment. Proven relevant experience.
· MEWP training.
· Advanced Climbing (Troll or equivalent certification).
· Ericsson Equipment Cert.
· Working knowledge of networks using wireless technologies e.g. PDH, SDH.
- PC Literate (Proficient in MS Office) with good reporting and communication skills.
