Sales Consultant County Clare.
Our client is an up and coming Software Company located in Shannon, County Clare. They are now hiring a junior level Sales Consultant to assist in the expansion of its business in Ireland and the United Kingdom markets. The role is to take responsibility for all sales activities and to achieve sales in excess of €200K per annum. Sales of the product will be executed through a direct sales and indirect sales channels. The role will include a combination of mail-shot and follow up activities and on-line demonstrations of the product using a variety of webinar tools. Actual sales will be executed through internet ordering and the application will be delivered utilising the SaaS concept. The successful candidate will also become responsible for managing the relationship with sales channels and for driving their sales, which will become part of your annual target.
Candidate Profile
The selected candidate will have at least three years experience in a previous sales role preferably in direct selling of complex products such as IT hardware/software, telecommunications devices or consumer electronics. Ideally the candidate will be educated to degree level of significant 3rd level standard and will have worked with in a dealer or distributor network or was engaged directly by the manufacturer.
The successful candidate must possess the following key attributives
Highly articulate and a good communicator, able to explain complex or abstract principles in a succinct and understandable manner
Extremely confident in dealing with clients but in a courteous polite way while having the capability to listen and respond to client concerns in a professional manner
Possess an ability to quickly understand the needs of a business and relate these to the solution being proposed.
Proven sales ability and be able to identify prospects, nurture them and close sales in a timely manner.
Must be able to learn rapidly, take decisions and operate as independently as required to reach goals.
Be fully IT literate and have excellent written and oral skills
A basic knowledge of the Irish or British legal process would be an advantage.
A base salary of circa 18 – 20K with on target earnings (OTE) of circa 30 – 35K is on offer for this role.
