Business Development Executive
Based in north Dublin my client provides non-medical services to the elderly in their homes. Currently they have a vacancy for a Business Development Executive with at least 1-2yrs business development and/or account management experience.
The Role:
This is a highly autonomous role and requires a self-motivated individual with the tenacity and professional aptitude to significantly enhance relationships with referral providers in our local market.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify sources for client referrals
- Establish and build relationships with new and existing contacts
- This would include: introduction calls, information calls, one to one meetings, or group presentations, using video and print material to educate and inform on available services to Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Doctors, Health Centres, Parish Centres, Physiotherapists, and Rehabilitation Centres etc.
- Follow up on all contacts with appropriate correspondence.
- Research schedule and successfully execute regular community marketing events including Health Fairs, Senior Exhibitions, and any other event that would promote the service to the general public.
- Flexibility to assist/carry out duties in other areas as required
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Conduct service calls as needed
- Conduct client/carer introductions as needed
- Conduct quality assurance (QA) visits with clients
- Participate in all carer meetings
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong motivation and drive to build relationships with referral providers, be target oriented and methodical;
- An ability to demonstrate the commercial acumen to work and succeed in a fast growing environment;
- Possess strong communication and presentation skills;
- A nursing background or similar is preferable
