Job description:

Technical Writer

In partnership with its client Kenny-Whelan & Associates is currently seeking a Technical Writer for the south Dublin area.

The Client:

The Client is a well established multi-national.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, review and update engineering Standard Operating Procedures.

• Develop, review and update calibration operating procedures.

• Involvement in engineering meetings as part of co-ordination of specification changes that will lead to updates to SOPs and BOM

• Involvement in projects as part of continuous process improvement and / or troubleshooting, including :

o Liaison with process improvement team to troubleshoot and develop new ways of working

o Liaison with training teams to enhance and develop the site procedures

• Liaise with Quality Assurance to ensure that GMP standards are maintained in line with current SOPs.

• Liaise with Technical Services regarding documentation changes in an effective and timely manner.

• Use specified software packages and standard procedures, responsible for compiling and maintaining all relevant documentation including SOPs for submission to the Engineering Support and Facilities Team Leader.

• Provide technical and clerical support to the engineering team in the preparation of documentation, collation of data and tracking of SOPs.

• Contribute and assists with Corporate, FDA, IMB Auditors and other regulatory bodies during company audits.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Educated to degree level in the Sciences and/or engineering disciplines.

• Significant experience in Chemistry/Microbiology/Engineering/Validation gained within a biotech, pharma or health care organisation.
